The Challenge

Wessam’s main challenge was ensuring that the packaging could withstand the weight of their automotive parts, while also maintaining quality and protection during the shipping process.

  • Strength and Durability:

  • Adjusting Materials Based on Product Weight:
     After Wessam paid for the initial sample, WITPAX sent a colleague to Dubai to meet with the client and better understand the heavy nature of the products. Based on this meeting, WITPAX adjusted the material used for the boxes, ensuring they could handle the weight of the automotive parts.
  • 3D Model for Approval:
     During the sample process, a slight printing error was found. To resolve this, WITPAX created a 3D model of the box and sent it to Wessam for approval before moving forward with mass production. This step ensured that Wessam’s expectations were met and that there were no issues with the final product.
  • Film Coating for Protection:
     Following Wessam’s request, WITPAX applied a film coating to the surface of the boxes. This extra layer of protection ensured that the boxes were resistant to damage, helping preserve their quality and appearance throughout the shipping process.

The Results

The final product successfully met Wessam’s needs, and they were pleased with the outcome:

  • Timely Delivery:
     The production was split into two shipments. The first batch was sent promptly, while the second batch was stored at the factory for about six months before being shipped. Throughout this period, WITPAX kept Wessam informed, and the shipping schedule was adhered to.
  • Minimal Damage:
     Upon receiving the shipment, Wessam found a few boxes had been damaged. However, after a thorough inspection, it was determined that only a few boxes were affected. Wessam appreciated that WITPAX had produced extra boxes to account for any potential issues, which helped resolve the situation smoothly.

     Wessam was satisfied with the performance of the packaging. The boxes held up well during transit, and despite the minor damage, the overall durability and functionality of the boxes met their expectations.
